Jokowi to Build Free Beaches

(ANTARA News) - Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo (Jokowi) plans to build a
public beach in Jakarta as a new tourist attraction for the city.
"Therefore,
we will wake up new beaches were nicer than Ancol and most importantly,
it's a public beach, for general, all citizens, so no need to pay or
free," said Jokowi at City Hall, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday.
The
plan is delivered directly by the relevant Jokowi reports from citizens
related lawsuit tariffs when entering the tourist area of Ancol,
North Jakarta.
Unfortunately, Jokowi still keep the construction site free beach. However, he said, now the whole planning process is already under way.
"We
will make a nicer beach than Ancol. Now, is still in the planning

many times," said Jokowi.
Jokowi assess tariffs Ancol problem is complex because on the one hand, if it is free, the manager will lose. However, he added, on the other hand, people also want to enjoy the tourist area without any cost.
Jokowi not mention the amount of budget required for the construction of the free beach. However, he wants the construction project can be completed as soon as possible.
"I
said, the process is ongoing. Addition, plans for the free beach I have
also conveyed to the Regional Representatives Council (Parliament) of
Jakarta," said Jokowi.
As
is known, the Central Jakarta District Court rejected a lawsuit that
asks people to be freed from tariffs Ancol tourist area as it is
considered the evidence submitted did not meet the material suit.
Rejection
is done by the Minister of Public Works No. 40/PRT/M/2007 about Coastal
Reclamation yet Judicial Review to the Law No. 26 Year 2007 on Spatial
Planning.
From
these premises, the panel of judges are no regulations violated by the
defendant as Ancol, PT Development Jaya Ancol, Ancol Dreamland PT and
the Provincial Government (Provincial) DKI Jakarta. (Ar)
